Description
Ubiquiti Enterprise 24 PoE L3 400W 24-Port Switch The Ubiquiti Enterprise 24 PoE L3 400W 24-Port Switch is built for high-performance, enterprise-grade environments where mixed speeds, strong PoE capability, and robust Layer-3 features are essential. This switch delivers high throughput, flexible port types, and enterprise management features in a rackmount form. Ubiquiti Enterprise Performance / Functionality This switch offers 12 ports at 2.5GbE and 12 ports at 1GbE—all PoE+ capable—along with 2 SFP+ uplink ports at 10Gbps for fiber connection or high-speed aggregation. With a switching capacity of 124 Gbps and forwarding rate up to 92 million packets per second , it can handle heavy traffic flows while maintaining low latency. It provides up to 400W of PoE+ power, allowing it to support many access points, cameras, and other powered devices simultaneously. Ubiquiti Enterprise Compatibility The switch supports full Layer-3 functionality including static routing, inter-VLAN routing, DHCP relay, and local DHCP server capabilities. Managed via UniFi Network Controller, it integrates with other UniFi enterprise hardware, supports advanced security features like 802.1X, ACLs, and VLAN isolation. Safety / Convenience Constructed with a robust steel chassis, this 1U rackmount switch includes a universal AC input (100-240V) and options for redundant power input (DC backup). Fan cooling design ensures stability under load. LED indicators and a small display for status make troubleshooting easier. Design / Build The enterprise 24 PoE switch measures 442 × 325 × 44 mm , weighs ≈ 5.1 kg without mounting brackets, and ≈ 5.2 kg with them. It has 1U rack height, steel body for durability, supports PoE voltages in the range ~44-57V. Port layout includes Mixed 1G/2.5G RJ-45 and high-speed fiber uplinks. Usage Tips Ensure proper ventilation, especially when driving high PoE loads. Use quality Cat6a or better cables for 2.5GbE ports. Keep firmware updated to take advantage of feature and security improvements. For deployments with many wireless APs, plan PoE budget carefully to avoid exceeding limits. RK950
