The U7 Lite supports the latest WiFi-7 standard (802.11be), offering dual-band connectivity with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios. The device has 4 spatial streams (2×2 MU-MIMO on each band), enabling peak data rates of approximately 4.3 Gbps on the 5 GHz band and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Backward compatibility ensures it works smoothly with devices using older standards. A single 2.5 GbE uplink (PoE) supports high-speed backhaul.

Usage Tips

Place the U7 Lite centrally in the coverage area and avoid obstructions for best performance. Use high-quality PoE cabling and a 2.5GbE capable switch or injector to fully leverage the uplink. Keep firmware updated via UniFi Controller for performance and security enhancements.
